My name is Valin. I was born and raised in Vancouver BC. I am currently attending Emily Carr University  for my third year of general fine art studies. I did my first two years at Capilano university, which I really loved. My concentrations in school  include, painting, sculpture, and drawing. I have pursued photography independently for about seven years, and often use my photos as reference for painting and sculpture. Photography  with intentional Narrative, and technical processes really inspires me. Being a student of art I am often experimenting with various processes and materials. Critical, political, psychological, dark, and honest subject matter all interest me, and influence my work. My current goal is to get a bachelor degree in fine art, then take it from there.
